SIGN UP FOR THE WINTER 2021 CANVAS LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

UCR is making the switch to Canvas! In response to faculty requests for a new learning management system platform, UCR began piloting the application during Summer Session II and continued into Fall 2020. More courses will be added each subsequent quarter over the next two years with the goal of retiring iLearn by June 2022. Across the UCs, eight (8) of the UC campuses and academic programs are in Canvas.

If you are interested in migrating your course to eLearn (Canvas) this Winter 2021, please complete the request form by December 12, 2020.

Please note that the UCR Canvas pilot instance is currently unable to accommodate merged or cross-listed courses. If the course you want to teach in Canvas is cross-listed, or if it requires a merge request, then the course will need to remain in iLearn until Summer 2021.

Also, the UCR Canvas pilot instance cannot currently accommodate non-UCR enrollments for cross-campus students, or requests for early access for waitlisted students.
